Gorgeous photos! We got a killing frost this week on our microfarm. On the eve of it, I picked the last of our produce: a bushel of green beans, 1/2 bushel of sweet peppers, 1/2 bushel ancho peppers, 1/2 bushel chard, a handful of green tomatoes, a 1/2 bushel of potatoes. Thanksgiving will be meaningful this year. Our yield has been good.
Hi Dan & Mindy! Great photographs of the end of another great year gardening! Roy & I hope you saved us some of those sunflower seeds! We just put our garden to rest for the year too, and although it is sad, we dream of next years crop already! Thanks for a great season and lots of good information! Love you guys! :-)
This is how we wish ours had looked this year. We’re just about ready to give up and throw in the tractor. Towel went in last year. But we’re still getting a little bit of produce, so I guess we’ll hang on for awhile longer.
